Robert Fulmer is the founder and Principal of Fulmer Associates LLC. Beginning with his great grandfather in 1910, he is the fourth generation to engage in the restoration and preservation of iconic historic structures.
About Robert
Robert Fulmer and Zagal 17 “Zen”
For nearly four decades Robert has conducted the evaluation, design and restoration of over 1,000 historic buildings in both domestic and international locations.
As an internationally recognized historic restoration expert Robert has written multiple white papers on various historic exterior materials and methodologies with subsequent publication in multiple technical trade journals.
As an author and invited speaker on multiple restoration topics, many of his publications are certified by the AIA (American Institute of Architects) for continuing education credits and have been presented in lectures to architects and engineers throughout the United States.
Currently Robert serves on the standards committee for the National Slate Association, who are in the process writing the second edition of the only manual in North America dedicated to the installation of slate roofing and cladding.
Additionally, Robert regularly provides litigation support services and is retained as an expert witness in construction defect cases.
