About Robert Fulmer

Robert specializes in the analysis, diagnosis and project development of building envelope issues within both historic and contemporary structures. As Principal of Fulmer Associates, he provides the specification and oversight of appropriate remedial solutions for a full spectrum of building envelope projects.

Recognized as an expert in copper and slate roofing, he has consulted on significant projects throughout North and Central America. He is a published author of trade specific articles and has lectured throughout the U.S. on historic preservation and contemporary building envelope topics.

He is qualified as an expert witness in roofing litigation.

Robert is Past President, currently serving on the Board of the New England Chapter of RCI. He is also the current Senior Vice President of the National Slate Association.

Professional Experience

Over twenty-eight years of practice in the exterior construction industry, including specialization in slate, copper and tile roofing systems, forensic analysis and diagnosis of building envelope issues as well as the specification and oversight of appropriate remedial actions and processes. Produces a full range of Project specification, Management and Construction Administration services.

Lectures throughout the United States to peers and professional organizations, on various roofing, historic preservation and exterior building topics.

Litigation Services
Experience includes testimony as an expert witness, assistance to counsel in preparing and completing depositions, addressing opposing witnesses, and assistance in litigation strategy.
